My little Dancers

I just had to share a picture of my 2 little dancers! This is the first year they will be doing the dance recital together :) Madison has been doing dance for 4 years and this is Paige's 1st year. I know I will need lots of tissues that day. I get so emotional at things like this. Am I the only one? It could be a Christmas concert, preschool graduation, anything that requires them to be on stage and I'm a mess. You just some how see them in a different light. It makes you realize how much they have grown and how they don't always need Mommy holding their hand. I think it makes you fast forward to other "big moments" too~ graduation, wedding day, ect. Sometimes I just wish I could freeze time and keep them little. Time just goes too fast!

Twins Custom Silhouette Portraits

I recently did a giveaway at Pink With Sparkles! The giveaway was for a 5x7 print ready for framing , a set of 8 Personalized notecards, and a set of 8 Personalized round stickers. I was very happy with the response :) I had 113 comments. Dawn was a great help and wonderful to work with.

The lucky winner of the contest was Laura. Laura is the Mommy of 2 beautiful 15 month twin girls. She decided she wanted a custom silhouette done of her girls. I emailed her some tips on how to take a profile picture so that the silhouettes would turn out perfect. This could not have been easy, but she captured their profiles perfectly :) These silhouettes are ADORABLE!

I also did the notecards and stickers for her. She liked the brown with pink polka dots and the white flowers and butterflies. We put the girls names on the front. They are going to be so cute to send to all of her family and friends! Here is the sticker I came up with for Laura. I used both the silhouettes of the girls! I think this is my favorite thing I've created yet!

Thanks to Laura for being so great to work with. I think everything is precious! I hope you enjoy your prints and notecards :)

8x10 Prints

I love all of my customer feedback! Anytime I can ask people questions about my shop, I take the opportunity. I love to hear what they like, would like to see more of, or any suggestions. A few of my customers have asked if my prints are available in different sizes and without the frame. I have decided to start listing my prints with and without the frames. That way the customer has the option. I am also going to list 8x10's.

Thanks to everyone for all the words of encouragement and support! It means so much to know that people believe in you and love your work :)

Birthday Invitations

I received a request from a customer to make birthday invitations. She wanted her daughter's silhouette on the invite with one of my flower designs. This was my first order for anything like this, so I was unsure how they would turn out. The customer was very specific in what she wanted, so it made it much easier. Her daughter's silhouette turned out better than I could have imagined. I tried to include as many of her adorable curls as possible. Her Mom also requested a bow in her hair. I made it a different shade of pink to show more detail. The bow is too cute :) I also made her some personalized round stickers with the silhouette on them. I am really happy with how they turned out!

Another Custom Bedding Design

I received another request to match a new baby girl's bedding! I have always loved the Carter's line! The colors are SO pretty. This one was much more difficult than the last one I did. For this bedding I tried to match the flowers and ladybugs as closely as I could. I think it turned out adorable :) Thank you Jenny!

New Design

These are two of my newest prints that I have designed. I recently had 2 days of no Internet (lightning struck our line), so I used that time to come up with some new designs. I felt so lost without Internet. It was good though :) It gave me extra time to work on some new ideas I've had. I LOVE to design new prints. I try to stay simple, yet add little details that everyone will notice. I am really enjoying making the boy prints. I love the boy things like trucks and airplanes. It is a nice and welcomed change!
